As a partner in the RhinFilm project, MIRA's focus is the conservation and circulation of moving images from Alsace. They are interested in the inventory, analysis and circulation of amateur films. At this film night, MIRA will present a selection of amateur films from different eras, from the 1920s to the 1960s. These films are from 9.5, 8 and 16mm film. Industrial promotional films, family films, propaganda and educational films filmed by anonymous or famous amateurs. They show daily family life, industrial organsiation, historical news and agricultural activities in Alsace and elsewhere.
